Kas di Kuido is pleased to announce that the recent Covid-19 outbreak within our facility is fully under control. All residents have recovered from their complaints and no new cases have been reported.
The Trinitaria and Tuturutu cohort wards, which were established specifically to manage the outbreak, have now been abolished. The special measures that were previously introduced, such as mandatory mouth and nose masks for visitors, are no longer in force. Visitors can move freely around the facility and visit other residents, provided they observe basic hygiene rules.
This success is due to the dedication and hard work of our care team and the support of our residents’ families. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this challenging period.
Although the acute measures have been lifted, Kas di Kuido remains vigilant. We continue to follow the guidelines of the health authorities to ensure the safety and health of our residents, visitors and employees. We will communicate any new developments immediately.
We thank the Bonaire community for their continued support and trust. Together we take a step towards normal circumstances and continue to strive to provide the best care for our residents.
