Fundashon Mariadal adjusts pharmacy service due to international e-Care failure

Home > Fundashon Mariadal adjusts pharmacy service due to international e-Care failure

The Fundashon Mariadal pharmacy has temporarily adjusted its working methods due to an international failure in the e-Zorg connection.

This network is used for the exchange of medical data and digital prescriptions between healthcare providers. Due to the outage, digital prescriptions cannot currently be processed.

What does this mean for patients?

To ensure that patients continue to receive the correct medication, the following temporary measures apply:

  • Only emergency prescriptions are currently being processed.
  • GPs give patients a prescription that must be submitted to the pharmacy.
  • We request patients to come to the pharmacy immediately with their emergency prescription.
  • We ask patients to bring a current medication overview or the medication they are currently taking with them when they visit.
  • Patients without an emergency prescription are requested to return at a later time, to avoid crowds and to ensure that emergency medication remains quickly available.

Together we guarantee the continuity, quality and safety of care

We understand that this situation can cause inconvenience, but we are doing everything we can to minimize the impact on our patients. Thanks to close cooperation with GPs and healthcare providers, we ensure that emergency medication remains available.

How long will the outage last?

The disruption is international and may last for several days. Fundashon Mariadal is closely monitoring the situation and will inform patients and healthcare providers as soon as normal operations can be resumed.

For up-to-date information, we will continue to inform you via the press. We continue to do our utmost to help everyone as best we can and appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation.
