Laboratory FM is a modern hospital laboratory that performs medical laboratory tests for Fundashon Mariadal and other healthcare providers on Bonaire. The laboratory uses state-of-the-art equipment and well-trained staff for this purpose.
The patient and healthcare providers on Bonaire are our first priority. They are entitled to laboratory diagnostics at Dutch level with turn-around times comparable to those in the Netherlands, taking into account the special (geographical) situation of Bonaire. The laboratory offers high-quality diagnostics (clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology, blood bank) and strives to perform this at the lowest possible costs.
The laboratory plays an indispensable role in public (preventive) healthcare on Bonaire and actively looks for opportunities to carry out as many requests as possible itself for the sake of continuously improving services to patients and healthcare providers within and outside Fundashon Mariadal, in which the laboratory is seen as a value-added function within Fundashon Mariadal.
Employees are offered a safe, inclusive, inspiring working environment with room for personal development. They should feel free to make suggestions or express complaints.
The laboratory carries out the analysis under accreditation from the Accreditation Council under registration number M303 in accordance with ISO 15189-2012.
