On Monday, September 1st, Fundashon Mariadal will begin renovating the Botika FM pharmacy. This modernization is an important step toward faster and more flexible service, culminating in the introduction of a 24-hour collection machine later this year. The work is expected to take approximately 10 weeks.
Renovation with a focus on accessibility and convenience
The 24-hour collection machine allows clients to pick up their medication at any time – even outside regular opening hours. This allows Fundashon Mariadal to improve accessibility and service for the community.
Temporary adjustments during renovation
During the renovation, the pharmacy will remain open, but with a reduced number of counters:
- Counters 6 and 7 are temporarily out of service, which may lead to longer wait times;
- Two parking spaces will be temporarily closed, but the disabled parking space will remain available.
Importance of up-to-date contact information
For fast and efficient service, it is important that client information is up-to-date. In particular, their telephone number and email address are needed so that clients can be automatically informed when their medication is ready.
Clients can easily update their information:
- Via the ticket kiosk in the pharmacy (option J – Data check);
- By phone or at the pharmacy counter;
- By email to apotheeks@fundashonmariadal.org
Avoid peak hours
The busiest times in the pharmacy are usually:
- 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Clients are advised to schedule their visits outside of these peak hours, where possible.
Future-oriented care
With this investment, Fundashon Mariadal is taking another step towards modern, sustainable, and client-centered care. We are building a care environment that meets the needs of our community. We do this with love, innovation, professionalism and service as our guiding principles.
